2026 Sportsman Open 402 Center Console

The Sportsman Open 402 is a 40-foot center console built on fiberglass with a 13-foot beam and powered by three gasoline engines. The design balances serious fishing capability with full-featured cruising accommodations, supported by advanced systems throughout.

The helm features dual Garmin GPSMAP 9227 chartplotters, SeaStar Interact digital switching, and a Yamaha Command Link Plus touchscreen for integrated control. Seakeeper Ride VACS stabilization enhances ride and comfort. Four premium captain's chairs surround the command center, while a rear-facing mezzanine provides additional seating. Pressurized aquarium livewells, a fold-down transom seat, and a stern fiberglass cockpit table serve fishing and entertainment needs. The Total Access Compartment offers full bilge access.
