The 2026 Sun Tracker Bass Buggy 16 XL Select is a seven-passenger fishing pontoon built on an aluminum hull with a single 50-horsepower Mercury engine. The boat measures 11 feet 1 inch in length with an 8-foot 6-inch beam and features 24-inch-diameter high-buoyancy multichambered pontoon logs with full-length longitudinal M-bracket deck supports and heavy-duty extruded Z-bar reinforcement. The extended motor pod is all-welded aluminum, and the transom is constructed from aluminum box-beam for structural strength.

The interior layout centers on a wraparound tinted windscreen and redesigned console with a vertical rod holder, integrated storage, and side-mounted controls. The helm features a 4:2 ratio steering system with a sport steering wheel and an adjustable swiveling bucket seat. Two removable folding fishing chairs with heavy-duty pedestals are positioned for casting, while the forward console seat includes molded grab handles and below-cushion livewell access.
