The 2026 Sun Tracker Bass Buggy 16 XL Select is an 18-foot fishing pontoon built on an aluminum hull and powered by a single 50-horsepower Mercury Marine engine. It seats seven passengers and carries the legacy of the original Bass Buggy, the first fishing pontoon ever produced.

The layout combines fishing capability with comfort. Two folding fishing seats position you in the shade of a standard 7-foot bimini top, while a redesigned console offers the driver a dedicated rod holder and clear sightlines. A seat positioned in front of the driver console supplements the main seating arrangement. The backrest design incorporates storage cut-outs that add three cubic feet of storage capacity.

Daily convenience features include four cupholders, phone compartments built into the layout, and recessed storage integrated into the backrest structure. The console and lounge seating have been redesigned for the 2026 model year, giving the boat a fresh appearance while maintaining its fishing-focused identity.
