The 2026 Sun Tracker Bass Buggy 16 XL Select is an 18-foot aluminum pontoon built for fishing. Powered by a single 50-horsepower Mercury outboard, it seats seven passengers and carries the design legacy of the original fishing pontoon with a comprehensive update for the current generation.

The layout centers on fishing functionality. Two folding fishing seats let anglers cast from protected positions under the standard 7-foot bimini top. The driver console includes a dedicated rod holder and phone compartments. Backrest cutouts throughout the cabin create three additional cubic feet of storage. The boat includes four cupholders integrated into the seating areas and a forward-facing seat positioned near the driver console.

The 2026 redesign introduces a reworked console and updated lounge seating arrangement alongside these storage and feature additions. The eight-foot beam provides a stable platform suited to shallow-water fishing operations.
