The 2026 Sun Tracker Bass Buggy 16 XL Select is an 18-foot aluminum fishing pontoon powered by a single 50-horsepower Mercury Marine engine. Built to accommodate seven passengers, this model combines traditional fishing pontoon design with a refreshed layout and expanded onboard amenities.

The boat features two folding fishing seats positioned to cast from under a standard 7-foot bimini top, along with a driver console equipped with a rod holder. The redesigned console and lounge seating incorporate practical storage upgrades, including three additional cubic feet of storage space created through cut-outs in the backrest sections. The boat also includes a forward-facing seat ahead of the driver console, phone compartments, and four additional cupholders throughout the cockpit.
