The 2026 Sun Tracker Bass Buggy 16 XL Select is an 18-foot aluminum pontoon built for fishing, powered by a single 50-horsepower Mercury Marine engine. This model carries on the heritage of the original fishing pontoon with a redesigned layout that combines function with practical updates.

The boat seats up to seven passengers and features dual folding fishing seats positioned under a standard 7-foot bimini top for shade while casting. The driver console includes a dedicated rod holder and is paired with a passenger seat in front. Storage capacity has been expanded with three additional cubic feet gained through recessed backrest cut-outs, while new phone compartments and four additional cupholders enhance convenience throughout the boat.
