The 2026 Thunder Jet 185 Luxor is a 20-foot aluminum runabout built around a Mercury 150 XL four-stroke engine. The hull features a new TJ-X high-performance design with one-piece aluminum sides, welded construction throughout, and progressive 16-degree deadrise for stable handling. The bottom incorporates an extended running surface, full-length reverse chine, and self-draining diamond tread. Heavy-duty engineering includes full-length box stringers, a fully welded keel guard, and through-hull fittings. Maximum capacity is six persons.

The open cockpit layout centers on dual welded consoles with a walk-through windshield and color-matched dash. The driver's seat adjusts on a slider, while two 36-inch box bench seats with removable backrests provide additional seating; two folding pedestal fish seats with locking swivels offer flexible configuration.
