The 2026 Vexus AVX 1985s is a 19-foot, 8-inch aluminum bay boat built for serious fishing and family use. Powered by a Mercury 200 XL ProXS 4-stroke engine, it combines a wide 96-inch beam with a V2 hull design that delivers stability and responsive handling. The boat is packed with practical fishing-focused features: a massive front deck with a 9-foot center rod and gear box, port and starboard storage compartments for rods up to 8½ feet, retractable rod straps, and weather-sealed storage throughout. A fiberglass livewell with removable divider and recirculating aeration sits between folding jump seats in the rear, and a 40-gallon fuel tank is positioned on the centerline for balanced weight.
The cockpit is wide and open, with a quick-drying cushioned floor and ample legroom. Both driver and passenger seats slide and swivel. The helm features speed, tach, fuel, trim, and water pressure gauges, plus provision for up to 12-inch electronics. Storage and convenience items are extensive: cupholders, rod and gear storage, a large glovebox, a fiberglass compartment with integrated tool holders, a 12-volt outlet, and a USB port. The rear deck includes additional storage with compression locks and weather seals, a ski tow mount, and easy access to electrical systems.
This example includes a robust equipment package: Midnight Oil hull finish, Victor Package upgrades (remote drain plug, adjustable driver's seat slide, color-matched panels, auto bilge pump, hard nose keel protector, and tie downs), Minnkota PCL 15 battery charger, livewell oxygenator, hydraulic tilt steering, hot foot with slide, interior light package, and custom boat cover. The tandem axle trailer features disc brakes, a swing tongue, custom aluminum wheels, spare tire, and a transom bow step.
