The VXs20 is a 20-foot 6-inch aluminum bay boat powered by a single Mercury engine and built around a hand-laid glass-infused hull designed for responsive handling in rough water. The keel-forward design pairs a convex hull with reverse chines, integrated spray rails, and flared contours for stability. The frame sits on an aggressive stance with raised decks and dropped gunnels that ease casting and access to target areas.
The boat's layout prioritizes fishing functionality with an expansive front deck featuring a built-in trolling motor wedge and oversized electronics space. Rod storage is substantial—the 8-foot 6-inch port compartment accommodates dozens of rods, while the center box accepts 3700-sized tackle boxes in multiple configurations. A reinforced day box sits forward of the console for priority tackle access. The bow area includes forward cup holders positioned near electronics.
The helm console features a raked, aerodynamic design that accommodates flush-mount units up to 16 inches and keeps speed, tachometer, fuel, trim, and water pressure gauges highly visible. The cockpit is expansive, with a fold-out storage bin on the passenger footrest, under-console space for a foot throttle, and a Cold Spot cooler with an integrated fish ruler. Molded storage bins flank both driver and passenger positions.
The aft deck centers on Vexus's Intensive Care livewell, a multi-stage fish care system surrounded by gelcoat-lined storage compartments. An integrated safety ladder with push-button discharge and helm-mounted safety light provides water access. The boat can be ordered with or without handrails and offers a choice of carpet or high-density polyethylene flooring. It comes with a color-matched custom Vexus trailer.
