2026 Viking 70 Convertible

The 2026 Viking 70 Convertible is a four-stateroom, five-head offshore sportfisher built on proven hull design refined across three decades of Viking convertibles. The second-generation hull runs three inches narrower than the Gen II 68 with refined deadrise, chine placement, and strake geometry for a smooth, dry offshore ride. Twin MTU 12V2000 M96Z diesel engines producing 2,200 horsepower each deliver a top speed of 43 knots and a cruising speed of 34 knots, paired with Viking's Advanced Propulsion System featuring flow-aligned rudders, struts, and electronic power steering.

The lengthened cockpit maximizes working space for tournament fishing, engineered into the hull to maintain proper running attitude and balance. The flybridge features a repositioned helm console with flush-mounted electronics, three helm chairs, and generous lounging. The boat is available in three bridge configurations: Open Bridge with optional tuna tower, Enclosed Bridge, or Sky Bridge.

Belowdecks, horizontal-grain walnut millwork crafted at Viking's in-house woodworking facility throughout the interior. The flexible salon accommodates either peninsula or island galley layouts, with a portside L-shaped settee and raised starboard dinette. A dayhead sits just inside from the cockpit for convenient access during extended fishing days. The master stateroom, forward VIP berth, two additional guest staterooms, and an aft crew stateroom with direct engine room access provide accommodation for owner, guests, and crew.

The engine room is finished in Snow White Awlgrip for visibility and includes a Spot Zero watermaker, ElectroSea raw-water treatment, and Viking's integrated ventilation and fire suppression systems, all designed for straightforward maintenance on long-range passages.
