The 2026 Wellcraft 243 Fisherman is a center console built for serious offshore fishing with the versatility to serve as a coastal cruiser. Constructed in Cadillac, Michigan using traditional fiberglass build methods with a full stringer system, the boat features a proven 20-degree deep V hull designed for stability and a dry ride. Power comes from a single Mercury 350 Verado V10 outboard, the maximum rated horsepower for the model. The hull is finished in Liquid Blue with white powder coat accents, complemented by carbon fiber cockpit treatment for a modern, low-glare appearance.

The fishing platform prioritizes serious angling capability. A 23-gallon stern baitwell with light and timer, insulated in-deck fish boxes port and starboard with macerated drainage, and an industry-leading rod holder count across the gunwales, transom, and leaning post create extensive storage and rigging options.
