2026 Wellcraft 28 Speedster

The 28 Speedster is a 28-foot open runabout built on Wellcraft's stepped-hull platform and finished with the company's W.I.S.E. composite construction method. Powered by twin 400-horsepower Mercury engines, the design planes quickly and handles well in rough conditions while remaining light—approximately 5,510 pounds—and trailerable.

The cockpit layout offers flexible aft configurations to suit different uses. A standard lounge setup accommodates up to 13 guests for entertaining, while an optional sunbed arrangement with concealed storage suits relaxed cruising. The full walk-around deck, high bulwarks, closed transom, oversized rails, and dive door provide substantial offshore capability for a boat of this size.
