2026 Zar Formenti 85 SL

The Zar Formenti 85 SL is a 28-foot rigid inflatable built on a fiberglass hull with a single 500 hp gasoline engine. It reaches a top speed of 58 knots and cruises at 45 knots. The hull features a sharp entry and deep reverse chines designed for a dry, smooth ride. At roughly half the weight of a traditional center console, the boat functions effectively as a day boat for up to 14 people or an overnighter for two, and its light weight makes it suitable as a towable tender.

The cabin contains a head and sink. The boat includes a galley with refrigerated drawers, an on-deck gas grill, and a cook station with sink. A swim platform with extensions, electric windlass, electric aft hatch lift, and fore and aft hi-low tables are standard. Faux teak decking is available as an option, as is air conditioning in the cabin.

The boat comes standard with a gas ram-assisted retractable bimini top. Optional configurations include a t-top, an integrated electric retractable sunshade, and a range of customization options for gelcoat colors, tube colors, and cushion sets. Various electronics packages are available to order.
