The 2026 Zodiac Open 4.2 is a 14-foot rigid inflatable with a fiberglass deep-V hull and inflatable tube construction designed for versatility across fishing, cruising, and towing applications. The combination of a solid hull and tube design delivers stability and a smooth ride while remaining lightweight and easy to tow, with fuel efficiency suitable for extended outings on varied water conditions.

The open layout centers around a console with wheel steering and seating for four. The helm features a console seat, while a bench with tilting backrest and two additional seats around the console accommodate passengers. Storage is integrated throughout: a lockable locker beneath the console, bow storage with cushion, under-bench storage, and a bow cushion for comfort. A side boarding ladder, handrails, and windshield support safe movement and protection from spray.

Standard equipment includes a GRP bow roller, pressure gauge, 100mm rubstrake, navigation lights, mechanical steering, and lifting points for secure handling.
