The American Tug 395 is a 39-foot fiberglass express cruiser built to accommodate either a single or two-cabin layout, each with one head. The yacht features flexible salon configurations: choose between an L-shaped settee with lounge chair and dual-sink L-shaped galley, or a linear galley paired with a U-shaped settee. Solid surface countertops and generous storage throughout make the 395 well-suited for extended cruising on routes like the Great Loop or Inside Passage to Alaska.
Power comes from a Cummins QSB-380 diesel engine producing 380 horsepower, delivering an 8-knot cruising speed and 1 nautical mile per gallon. An optional 550-horsepower Cummins QSB-550 is available for higher-speed operation. The engine features Bosch HPCR electronic fuel injection and meets Tier-3 emissions standards.
Standard equipment includes a Northern Lights generator, bow and stern thrusters, and a stern davit. The galley offers a choice of propane or electric cooking. Climate control options include diesel heat or air conditioning with reverse-cycle heating. The boat is handcrafted in the United States.
