The Aspen C100 is a 32-foot composite catamaran powered by a single 250-horsepower Yanmar diesel engine. Built on a patented power proa hull design, the C100 cruises efficiently at 15.6 knots and reaches a maximum speed of 22.6 knots. The hull displaces water rather than planing, allowing smooth acceleration across the full RPM range without a traditional holeshot, and delivers strong fuel economy for a boat in its class.
The C100's four-foot longer cockpit compared to Aspen's smaller models makes it well-suited for fishing and entertaining. The boat features a single cabin with one head, a galley with refrigerator and sink, and a salon. Practical storage includes a built-in 96-quart cooler with integral seating, plus large port and starboard lazarette lockers. Engine access is provided through a 2-by-4-foot day hatch and a removable 4-by-6-foot deck section for service and maintenance.
The extended hull length adds over 2,200 pounds of buoyancy and runs 2 inches deeper than the C90, lifting the bridgedeck 4 inches higher and increasing suspension travel for comfort in rough water. Premium sound deadening throughout the interior, combined with the engine's placement just aft of the salon bulkhead, keeps cabin noise levels low while running. The design is engineered for extended passagemaking with comfort and efficiency.
