2027 Boston Whaler 290 Outrage

The 290 Outrage is a 29-foot center console built on Boston Whaler's patented WhalerStep hull, engineered for a smoother, drier ride and stable performance in offshore conditions. The fiberglass hull displaces an estimated 10,870 pounds and can handle up to 12 people. Power comes from dual gasoline engines, with a range between 500 and 700 horsepower depending on configuration. The boat carries 194 gallons of fuel and drafts approximately 26 inches.

The open layout prioritizes both fishing and social use. A deluxe leaning post with aft-facing seat anchors the fishing zone, paired with a 20-gallon livewell and dual fish boxes. A portside dive door provides easy water access for swimming or boarding. Storage is distributed throughout via under-seat compartments, bucket storage, and dedicated gear spaces. An optional hardtop system includes a full-glass windshield, integrated floodlights, and life-jacket storage.

Dual Mercury engines are available with Joystick Piloting for simplified boat handling. An optional trolling motor pre-rig provides a clear mounting area at the bow without compromising sightlines or space.
