2027 Fleming 58 Pilothouse
About This Yacht
The Fleming 58 Pilothouse is a new 58-foot motor yacht designed to fill the gap between Fleming's 55 and 65 models. Developed with input from Fleming owners and naval architects Norman Wright and Sons of Brisbane, the boat was designed from the keel up with classical Fleming lines preserved throughout. The design process included extensive tank testing of a 1/12 scale model at the Australian Maritime College, with multiple load conditions evaluated across varying speeds to optimize hull resistance, trim, and performance characteristics.
The yacht is built from fiberglass and powered by twin MAN diesel engines delivering 1,600 horsepower combined, with a cruising speed of 21 knots. The 58-foot hull spans 17 feet at the beam, providing a substantial platform for the interior layout.
Accommodations include three cabins and three heads, designed to support extended cruising. The pilothouse configuration offers commanding visibility and control, characteristic of the Fleming pilothouse series.
