The Krogen 52 is a fiberglass trawler designed from entirely new tooling rather than scaled from an existing hull, offering bluewater range and capability in a more manageable size than the company's larger models. Key to the design is a raised pilothouse with dual helm chairs, providing excellent visibility and comfort for both operator and mate at sea.
Below deck, the saloon opens to a fully covered aft deck through welded aluminum weather-tight doors. The galley is positioned to starboard with full-size refrigeration and a professional four-burner range with oven, plus direct access to the exterior via a Dutch door. A second set of stairs leads forward to the pilothouse, fitted with standard household risers and a solid banister for safe footing underway.
Accommodation options include two or three cabins with the master forward or amidships. A two-cabin layout frees space for a dedicated office. Two heads with enclosed shower stalls are standard regardless of configuration. The boat is powered by a single John Deere 6068AFM75 diesel engine producing 231 hp, with optional twin John Deere 4045TFM85 engines at 160 hp each. With 1,400 gallons of fuel capacity, the yacht achieves approximately 3,300 nautical miles range at 7 knots and a top speed of 9.5 knots.
