The Northstar Ion 12 is a 38-foot rigid inflatable built for open-water cruising and dayboat use. Powered by twin gasoline engines producing 800 horsepower combined, it reaches a top speed of 60 knots and cruises at 45 knots. The fiberglass hull with Hylalon tubes delivers stability and strength suited to offshore conditions, while the minimalist design emphasizes function and durability.

The single cabin accommodates overnight stays, and the boat includes a full complement of cruising equipment: hydraulic steering, an electric head, refrigerator, and foldable table. Storage is generous with multiple compartments throughout. The helm features a tempered glass windshield and stainless steel console, while twin flip-up seats provide flexible seating.
