2027 Scout 400 LXF
About This Yacht
The 2027 Scout 400 LXF is a 39-foot center console built with Scout's Epoxy-Infused Carbon Fiber/E-Glass construction, delivering a lighter and stronger hull than traditional fiberglass with improved fuel economy and ride comfort. The boat accommodates triple outboard engines up to 1,350 horsepower—available in Mercury 400 V10 Verado, Mercury 450R Racing Series, or Yamaha triple XF425 XTO configurations—each equipped with advanced control systems including joystick piloting for responsive handling and docking.
The layout combines offshore performance with onboard refinement. The helm area features air conditioning and an electric sunroof, while an enclosed cabin with shower and berth provides retreat space. An aft mezzanine bench with built-in cooler and grill faces the open cockpit, and the bow holds electrically adjustable lounge seating. Insulated fish boxes and port/starboard storage provide utility, complemented by a fold-down dive door with ladder.
Equipment includes a Garmin electronics suite, JL Audio marine sound system, electric bow shade, and underwater LED lighting. Optional additions include a Seakeeper 3 gyro stabilizer for enhanced stability. Fuel capacity is 444 gallons with 51 gallons of freshwater and a 16-gallon holding tank. The boat weighs approximately 16,500 pounds without engines and draws 28 inches with motors up.
