The Simbad 55 is a 57-foot composite catamaran built for owners who value both comfort and capable seamanship. Powered by twin Yanmar diesel engines with joystick control, the boat features a bow thruster, folding propellers, and a painted aluminum mast paired with an E-glass furling boom and Technora sails. Navigation is supported by dual helm stations with twin 16-inch chartplotters, and the boat is equipped with solar panels, a generator, large-capacity tanks, and soundproofed engine rooms for extended cruising autonomy.
The interior blends refinement with functionality across four separate accommodations. The master suite features a 180x200 cm double bed, desk, and full-size bathroom with Dekton finishes and Gessi accessories. Two guest cabins each have queen beds with private ensuite bathrooms, wireless chargers, and reading lights. A separate crew cabin with twin beds and its own bathroom provides discrete quarters. The saloon showcases walnut or oak woodwork with bronze accents, a dining table, 50-inch television, Fusion audio system with subwoofer, wine cellar, and tinted windows with blinds. The fully equipped galley includes Miele appliances and Vitrifrigo refrigeration.
Outdoor spaces span the boat's beam. The teak cockpit hosts a daybed table, BBQ plancha, icemaker, and fridge. The hardtop-shaded flybridge accommodates dual helms, sunbeds, a 19-inch chartplotter, and its own audio system. A forward cockpit at the bow offers open-air relaxation. The boat includes a tenderlift with tender, electric telescopic swimming ladder, and a gangway with dedicated storage for easy water access and boarding.
