The 2027 Targa 27.2 is a 27-foot express cruiser built on a fiberglass hull and powered by a single 400-horsepower Volvo Penta diesel engine. It reaches a top speed of 44 knots and cruises at 30 knots. The boat's design emphasizes versatility for both experienced and new boaters, with an open-ocean capable build and a wide 10-foot beam that provides stability and usable deck space.

The cabin layout includes one stateroom and one head, along with galley facilities and a pilothouse with full visibility. A sliding glass aft door option is available on the Aft Door Coupé version. Interior appointments include beige carpet with trim throughout, a damped steering chair, and options for sun curtains and portlights. A roof hatch with Lewmar mechanism can be fitted, providing natural light and ventilation.

The boat comes equipped with practical systems including a 20-liter hot water heater serving both galley and head, a diesel cabin heater, and an aft deck shower with hot and cold water. A 12,000 BTU air conditioning system maintains cabin comfort. Navigation and handling features include an electric bow thruster with 60-kilogram thrust and backup battery, a Lewmar electric anchor winch on the bow with eight meters of stainless chain and 40 meters of rope, plus wireless remote controls for both systems.

Lighting is comprehensive, with LED bow lights, dual work lights on the fore and aft decks, and long-range round running lights on the pilothouse roof. Additional systems include a battery charger, windscreen washers, and a backup battery to support the bow thruster.
