The 2027 World Cat 280 CC-X is a 27.5-foot center console built on a fiberglass hull with a 9.2-foot beam. Twin Yamaha F200XSA2 engines deliver 400 combined horsepower, paired with Yamaha EX Controls and the HelmMaster Integrated DES Steering system for responsive handling. An Edson 13-inch satin-finish wheel with power knob and nut commands the helm, while navigation and fish-finding duties fall to a Garmin 1243xsv display and B150M300w transducer. Engine monitoring comes via a CL-5 display.

The layout centers on an open cockpit with a hardtop finished in Arniston Grey to match the two-toned hull. A walk-thru transom provides direct access to the swim platform. Forward seating converts to a sun pad with a bow filler cushion, while helm and observer stations feature head and backrests for comfort during extended time on the water. Stainless steel hardware includes a heavy-duty lifting eye for secure mooring and transport.
