2027 XO EXPLR 9

The XO EXPLR 9 is a 28-foot aluminum and composite deep-V designed to deliver offshore performance with overnight comfort. Built with a 22-degree deadrise hull, it combines the all-weather capability of a full explorer with genuine cabin cruising space in a compact package. Powered by a single Mercury outboard up to 450 hp, it reaches speeds over 40 knots and cruises at around 28 knots, with an 81-gallon fuel capacity supporting extended range.

The cabin features a sound-proofed interior with a 230-centimeter berth, roof hatch for ventilation, and optional air conditioning. The layout accommodates two berths, with a convertible saloon option available. The cockpit is designed for eight passengers total, making it equally suited to day runs or overnight passages.

The 22-degree deep-V hull was engineered for Nordic offshore conditions, giving it proven ability in challenging sea states. The relatively modest beam of 8.4 feet keeps the boat nimble while the deep-V design ensures a dry, stable ride. Dry weight excluding engines is approximately 4,960 pounds.
