2028 Bray Yacht Design Long Range Explorer Motoryacht
About This Yacht
This 125-foot steel motoryacht is built for serious ocean cruising and global exploration. Her design draws from offshore supply vessels and Pacific Northwest working boats, combining robust sea-keeping ability with the comfort needed for extended voyages. A bulbous bow and roll-reducing stabilizer keels enhance efficiency and seaworthiness. The hull and aluminium superstructure incorporate over three inches of insulation and double-paned windows, with four watertight bulkheads meeting ABS Rules for unrestricted motor pleasure yachts. All systems—anchoring, firefighting, emergency bilge pumping, piping, and wiring—are built to commercial standards.
The accommodation comprises four staterooms with an on-deck master suite. The main deck features a full-width galley and dining room forward, followed by a large lounge that opens onto a 26-by-40-foot main deck area suitable for recreation and tender storage. The bridge provides direct access to the anchor windlass, side decks, wing stations, and upper aft deck, with a comprehensive helm station including chart table and electronic navigation equipment. An observation lounge aft and a sky lounge provide additional guest seating, while the upper aft deck overlooks the main deck activity area.
Twin Caterpillar diesel engines power the yacht, with twin generators and a hydraulic cruising generator providing electrical capacity. Extensive range, on-board water makers, and substantial storage support trans-ocean passages. The layout includes a flybridge with additional helm controls, sun pads, and barbecue facilities accessed by outside staircase. Covered decks provide shelter from weather, high bulwarks protect crew and passengers, and the main deck accommodates a personal submarine, seaplane, helicopter, jet skis, windsurfers, kayaks, and tenders for remote exploration.
