Angela II is a 1906 Sonderklasse designed by Max Oertz & Harder in Hamburg for the "Angela" series commissioned by Crown Prince Friedrich Wilhelm of Prussia. Built of cedar wood with a classic blue hull, she measures 34.84 feet overall with a 6.23-foot beam. Her distinctive high gaff rig embodies the authentic character of an imperial-era racing yacht.
The Sonderklasse was introduced in 1899 as Germany's first construction class built to a fixed formula—a design innovation that would reshape competitive sailing. Of the six yachts in the Angela series, only three survive today, making Angela II a rare example of early 20th-century German craftsmanship.
The yacht has undergone a major refit and is finished in excellent condition. She carries a complete sail set including mainsail, jib, and spinnaker. A Torqeedo outboard motor and a new trailer are included.
