1910 Dutch Barge Klipper

This 1910 Dutch Klipper is a steel-hulled barge measuring 78 feet long. Powered by a single 70 hp Lister diesel engine, the boat combines traditional design with practical modern systems including 240-volt electrical throughout, a diesel-fired boiler for heating and hot water via radiators, and a wood burner in the main saloon.

The open-plan saloon and galley form the heart of the layout, with a hallway running forward that provides generous starboard-side storage and houses a washing machine. The port side contains a combined WC, shower room, and bath. The main cabin is bright and spacious with a large double-door wardrobe, opening portholes, and a substantial escape hatch for ventilation. Forward of this lies a full-height storage cabin in the bow area.

The aft cabin is currently configured as a music room but can be adapted for sleeping, office use, or other purposes. The interior features free-standing furniture throughout, allowing flexibility in how the space is arranged and used.
