2018 Adonia Adonis Trip #6 (July 24-31)

Adonis is a 75-foot aluminum houseboat built by Adonia Yachts in 2018, powered by twin diesel Yammer engines rated at 260 horsepower each. The boat accommodates up to 30 adults across nine sleeping areas: a private master suite with king bed and full bath, three upper-level suites with king beds, three queen-bed cabins, two kids' cuddies, and additional sleeping on the third deck. Four bathrooms serve the accommodations, along with two separate galleys—one full-featured with commercial-grade appliances and a second upper-deck bar with its own cooking and serving capabilities.

Recent upgrades have modernized the boat substantially. Interior improvements include new carpet, ceramic tile throughout dining and bathroom areas, exterior paint, and rear deck flooring. The galley features a full-size stainless steel range and oven, commercial ice maker, 66-inch refrigerator-freezer combination, dishwasher, microwave, and washer-dryer combo. The upper-deck bar includes granite counters, its own dishwasher and ice maker, gas stove, and seating for 13.

Power systems have been thoroughly upgraded. A complete solar installation generates 12,000 watts and feeds into a 24-battery bank with 16 lithium iron phosphate cells configured for 48 volts. A 20,000-watt inverter with Victron touchscreen control provides monitoring and automatic generator start capability. Two Northern Lights diesel generators produce 25 kilowatts each. Fuel storage includes 1,000 gallons of diesel and a 375-gallon gasoline tank for tenders.

Entertainment and connectivity include Starlink internet, Sonos audio throughout, BOSE surround sound on the top deck, and satellite television in multiple spaces. Exterior living spans three levels with a sun deck featuring daybeds, a rear deck slide, PWC ramps with winches, and an extended swim platform with custom water stairs. The boat carries four heads, full fresh water processing with a 900-gallon holding tank, electronic windlass anchoring with four heads, and comprehensive safety and mooring equipment.
