This 1925 Codecasa schooner is a fore-and-aft rigged motorsailer with a wooden hull of oak, teak, mahogany, and olive root. The boat measures 71 feet overall with a 19.7-foot beam and features a raked bow with bowsprit, canoe stern, and rounded bottom. A single 235 hp VM diesel engine drives the yacht, which also carries full sail capability including jibs, staysail, and timber masts with stainless steel rigging. Luca Taddei of Lerici designed the sail plan, and Sobstad of the USA supplied the sails. The boat is equipped with twin helm stations—one forward and one aft for steering under sail—and carries double topmasts with crosstrees added during 1990–1991. Five tonnes of lead ballast are positioned forward in blocks.
The interior accommodates two guest cabins with two beds each, a master cabin with a queen-size bed and single berth, and two crew cabins, all with en-suite bathrooms featuring shower, toilet, and bidet. The deckhouse contains a spacious dinette seating eight and a galley fitted with two refrigerators, two freezers, a dishwasher, oven, and four-burner gas stove. The bridge houses modern navigation equipment including Raymarine E120 radar and GPS chart plotter, ST60+ instruments for wind and sea data, Koden graphic echosounder, SSB and VHF radios with DSC, autopilot, and a multifunction printer. Deck hardware includes Lofrans windlasses, Harken Barbarossa bronze winches, hydraulic steering, dual Admiralty anchors with chain, a 4.2-metre tender, and wooden and bronze bitts.
The schooner underwent comprehensive restoration beginning in 1986 at Del Carlo yard in Viareggio and was relaunched in 1989 as "Anniventi." It holds RINA Classification Certificate 100-A1.1; NAV A for leisure craft. Routine maintenance and repairs have been performed annually since restoration, including regular hull painting, caulking renewal, and anti-fouling treatment. Significant work completed includes engine overhaul and propeller shaft replacement in 2008, watermaker installation, air conditioning system upgrades, refrigeration system renovation in 2011, electrical switchboard modernization in 2005, and navigation electronics update in 2010. The boat carries a 1700-amp-hour 24V battery bank with a powerful inverter for silent 220V power generation independent of the generator.
