1984 Carlini Sciarrelli 20 schooner

This 1984 steel schooner was built by Tencara for Carlini shipyard to a design by Carlo Sciarrelli. At just over 65 feet, she combines classic Italian styling with substantial steel construction and a well-equipped interior. The hull is white with an ochre waterline, and the boat cruises at 8 knots under a single 194 hp Volvo Penta diesel engine that was overhauled in 2021 with approximately 200 running hours since.

The accommodation comprises four separate cabins: a master with ensuite, two guest cabins, and a crew cabin, each with its own bathroom. The saloon features mahogany joinery and opens to a dinette and chart area. The galley is fitted with a four-burner gas cooktop, gas oven, stainless steel refrigerator and freezer, and dishwasher. A watermaker produces 100 liters per hour, and the boat carries 1,900 liters of fuel and 2,500 liters of water.

A major overhaul was completed in the 2021–2022 winter, including complete engine room restoration, replacement of the reverse gearbox and all sea-cocks, new exhaust piping, electrical system work, new gray-water pumps, revised air conditioning and desalination plumbing, and full servicing of all winches and rigging hardware. The teak deck is recent, laid in 2011. Navigation equipment includes Raymarine and Garmin systems with autopilot, VHF, and weather receiver. The rig comprises mainsail, furling genoa, forestay, and fisherman sail, all maintained by a professional sailmaker. A Prestige 400 tender with 25 hp Yamaha outboard is included, as is a six-person liferaft.
