1928 Custom John G Alden No. 215

This 1928 John G. Alden design is a 58-foot wooden schooner built in Sweden and shaped by the celebrated architect's vision for sailing performance and classic elegance. Sister ship to the renowned Malabar V, she carries the design legacy of that golden era of yacht racing. A single Perkins 50-horsepower diesel engine provides auxiliary power, with a cruising speed of 8 knots under power.

Below deck, the schooner offers two cabins and one head, providing comfortable accommodation for extended cruising. The interior reflects her classic build and the care taken through decades of ownership.

Since 1980, the current owner has maintained the boat to high standards and overseen several significant refits, including recent work by Woodstock Boatbuilders in Antigua. She has raced successfully in Caribbean regattas over her long service life.
