Arcturus is a 1930 Alden schooner, a 65-foot classic wooden yacht built in Maine with a beam of 14 feet 3 inches. She is powered by an 85-horsepower Ford diesel engine and carries two cabins and one head.

The hull and deck showcase traditional craftsmanship with teak decking and timber construction throughout. The helm station features a gracefully curved timber cap rail, and the design incorporates raised bulwarks and sturdy stanchions. The schooner's sail plan is substantial, and under sail she handles with responsive helm and achieves good speed.

The yacht underwent an extensive two-year restoration that brought her back to a high standard of condition. The timberwork has been carefully maintained over the past two decades. All structural elements were addressed during the restoration work.
