This 114-foot wooden ketch was built in 1933 by Camper & Nicholsons for cruising the Mediterranean. Her canoe-shaped hull and shallow draft of 9 feet 6 inches allow entry into protected anchorages, while the ketch rig provides good speed and handling versatility. A single 270-horsepower Man diesel engine provides auxiliary power.
The yacht accommodates four cabins and three heads. Below deck, her layout supports extended voyaging and cruising.
The boat has undergone substantial rebuilding over her years. A comprehensive reconstruction took place during the 1980s at Manoel Island in Malta, where her hull was strengthened and stiffened for heavy weather. She was refitted and re-engined in 2013, also at Manoel Island. The rigging and sails were overhauled before her recent passage to the Caribbean, where she now resides in sound condition.
