This 62-foot Alden custom design dates to 1938 and has been substantially rebuilt by Rockport Marine between 2008 and 2011. The wooden hull is powered by three Detroit Diesel engines producing 396 horsepower, delivering a cruising speed of 8.5 knots and a maximum speed of 11 knots.
The interior is arranged with three cabins and two heads. The boat's classical design reflects the traditions of early twentieth-century yacht building, with emphasis on traditional construction methods and period-appropriate detailing.
The recent restoration work by Rockport Marine updated the yacht's systems and structures while preserving its original character. The boat is currently in commission and in the water.
