This 40-foot wooden cruiser was built in 1940 by Tacoma Boat Co and carries substantial history. Originally launched that year, she served with the US Navy through 1944 before entering private hands. The boat has made multiple passages to Alaska and traversed the Inside Passage to Prince Rupert and surrounding waters numerous times.
The single-cabin layout includes one head and provides comfortable accommodation for extended cruising. Power comes from a 70-horsepower Isuzu diesel engine, delivering a cruising speed of 8 knots with a maximum speed of 9.3 knots.
Recently the boat completed an extensive mechanical and structural refit. The wood hull, beam of 11 feet, and proven design make her well-suited to the Pacific Northwest waters she knows well.
