A 45-foot wooden schooner built in 1947 by Fellows and Stewart in Wilmington, California. The design is a classic Murray Peterson schooner with a beam of 13 feet 3 inches, powered by a single 75-horsepower Yanmar diesel engine.
The boat underwent extensive structural and systems work in 2011 by Port Townsend Shipwrights Coop. The hull received new Sapele planking, new deck beams, and new frames. The deck was rebuilt with okoume BS 1088 plywood subdeck and sapele laid plank top decking. New sea cocks were installed throughout, and the anchor windlass and wormdrive steering system were both rebuilt.
The vessel's electrical systems were completely rewired with new 12-volt and 120-volt installations. Navigation electronics were updated and new stainless steel tanks were fitted. The scope of work reflects a comprehensive restoration of the major systems and structural elements of the wooden hull.
