2006 Hunter 45 Center Cockpit

The 2006 Hunter 45 Center Cockpit is a coastal cruising sailboat designed by Glenn Henderson and the Hunter Design Group. The yacht features their signature B&R rig without shrouds and a cockpit traveler arch, combining ease of handling with capability for extended cruising. The hull is fiberglass, measuring 45 feet in length with a 14.42-foot beam. A single 75-horsepower Yammer diesel engine provides auxiliary power, with a cruising speed of 8 knots.

The yacht accommodates two cabins and two heads. The interior layout supports comfortable passage-making and extended time aboard. The galley, saloon, and cabin spaces are arranged for practical cruising use.

Significant systems and equipment upgrades have been completed since 2022, including a new rudder, mainsail, and full cockpit enclosure. Navigation and communication systems installed recently include GPS, radar, VHF, and AIS. Power generation and storage have been enhanced with a Yammer wind turbine, solar panels, and battery replacements. Other recent additions include air conditioning, heating, an electric water heater, a Panda generator, an inverter and charger, a bow thruster, a watermaker, and a macerator. Safety equipment includes a life raft and dinghy. The boat is also fitted with a BBQ and cockpit cushions.
