1948 Hinckley Southwest 34

A 1948 Hinckley Southwest 34, this wooden sailing yacht underwent comprehensive restoration between 2009 and 2017. The work included replacement of all floor timbers and most of the keelson, repair of frame ends, and complete refastening of 18 planks below the waterline.

The boat carries new Doyle Stackpack main and jib sails, a new wheel helm with autopilot, and updated navigation electronics including a new chart plotter. The cockpit features a new cover, and below deck the galley includes a reinstalled ice box. Fresh water systems were upgraded with a new pump, and the head received new fixtures with an updated holding tank.

Power comes from a low-hours Yamar diesel engine paired with a second diesel unit. The Southwest 34 measures 34 feet in length with a 9-foot beam and provides one head for crew.
