Built by Matton Shipyard in 1954, this 70-foot steel tug has been comprehensively transformed into a private motor yacht. The hull retains the classic working-boat profile — high bow, commanding pilothouse, wide 19.5-foot beam, and distinctive aesthetic — while the interior has been adapted for comfortable cruising. The conversion maintains the boat's authentic tugboat character and seaworthy construction while offering modern liveability.
Power comes from a Caterpillar C18 diesel engine producing 600 horsepower, with a cruising speed of 9 knots and a maximum speed of 12 knots. The boat carries twin Kohler 20-kilowatt generators, hydraulics, and an air compressor. A complete refit was completed in 2017 with fresh engines, generators, electrical systems, and paint. The boat currently has 667 hours since the refit, with additional fresh paint work completed in spring 2026.
The yacht includes two cabins and features walkaround side decks, spacious foredeck, and elevated pilothouse with excellent sightlines. The broad beam provides exceptional stability and interior volume. Interior spaces combine vintage character with practical accommodation, offering flexibility for personalization or further customization.
The steel construction and proven tug design deliver durability and confidence underway. This boat can function equally well as a capable cruising yacht, coastal explorer, or liveaboard platform, blending maritime heritage with functional comfort.
