This 1954 Hinckley launch is a cedar and oak classic built with bronze fasteners throughout. The boat was fully restored to the keel by the International Yacht Restoration School in Newport, Rhode Island, around 2017. She features teak decks, covering boards, coaming, and transom, with a cedar-planked hull that swells minimally after winter storage and returns to service quickly.
The open layout centers on a side console with vertical tiller and a fold-out seat. Guest seating occupies the stern, while forward bench seating provides additional accommodation. A 38 horsepower Nanni diesel engine powers the boat, delivering a cruising speed of 6 knots.
The boat is equipped with a VHF radio, Garmin GPSmap chartplotter, bilge pumps with high water alarm, and running lights. A new Bimini top and canvas winter cover protect the open deck. The restoration included engine work and general refurbishment, leaving a well-maintained launch ready for service.
