Built in 1955 by Abeking and Rasmussen, this Concordia Yawl is a 39-foot wooden sailing yacht with a 10.25-foot beam. The design is known for speed and seaworthiness. She is powered by a 36 hp Beta Marine diesel engine and carries a single head.
Between 2007 and 2008, the hull underwent substantial work: the planking was renewed, the hull was refastened, and new keel bolts were installed. A new teak deck system was added during this period. New sails from Doyle were purchased, and stainless steel standing rigging and a roller furler were fitted in 2012 and 2015.
The yacht has been stored in a shed with a dirt floor for approximately six years. The hull would benefit from fresh paint and exterior varnishing in places, but the structural work completed during the refits provides a solid foundation.
