The 1985 C&C Landfall 39 is a well-built offshore cruising yacht designed by Robert Ball for C&C Yachts. She measures 39 feet overall with a 12-foot, 6-inch beam and draws 5 feet, 6 inches on her deep keel. The fiberglass hull displaces 19,483 pounds with 6,920 pounds of lead and antimony external ballast. Power comes from a Yanmar 4JHE diesel producing 44 horsepower, paired with a 2:1 reduction gearbox and two-blade bronze propeller. The yacht carries 40 gallons of fuel and 82 gallons of water across two aluminum tanks, plus a 24-gallon holding tank.
The rig includes stainless steel rod rigging with a Selden rigid boom vang and Harken roller furling. Current sails are a Quantum mainsail and genoa both from 2024, alongside a Doyle mainsail and genoa from 2008 with new UV protection added in 2018. Additional canvas includes a UK asymmetrical spinnaker with ATN tacker, a North asymmetrical spinnaker, and an ATN roller furling storm jib with spinnaker pole. Winches are Barient models 19 ST and 23 ST with additional mast-mounted units.
Below decks, the interior provides a forward vee berth extending 6 feet, 6 inches, a guest stateroom, and an aft stateroom with memory foam mattresses installed in 2018. The galley features a gimballed three-burner propane stove with oven, microwave, double sink, and large icebox. Two heads each have shower, sink, and marine toilet with holding tank access. Hot and cold pressurized water systems serve the yacht, supported by dual manual options. Refrigeration was renewed with a Sea Frost unit in 2018.
Electronics are thoroughly modern, with a complete Raymarine Axiom suite installed in 2025 including a 9-inch navigation station, radar, autopilot, wind and speed indicator, and repeater display. Navigation aids include a Standard Horizon VHF from 2022, handheld VHF with cockpit station from 2024, and emergency VHF antenna from 2025. Audio includes a Fusion Sirius XM stereo with subwoofer and multiple speakers, plus Clarion CD changer. Recent deck work includes resealed deck hatches with new glass in 2022, new stainless steel lifelines in 2025, and new running lights including masthead tri-color in 2023.
