Thor of Oslo is a 30-foot wooden cruiser built in Oslo, Norway in 1957. Powered by a single 270-horsepower Crusader engine, this custom-built yacht was commissioned as the flagship of the Pewaukee Yacht Club and became a fixture on Pewaukee Lake. The boat features hand-cut mahogany and teak decking throughout, with 20 coats of varnish applied to the exterior surfaces.
The yacht underwent an extensive restoration that returned it to active condition. Modern systems have been integrated into the original design, including a bow thruster, GPS depth locator, VHF radio, and refrigeration. A discreet sound system is also fitted. These updates maintain the boat's 1957 character while adding practical conveniences for contemporary use.
