This 1958 Chris-Craft 48 Constellation is a wooden-hulled motor yacht powered by twin General Motors gasoline engines producing 600 horsepower combined. Built during the era of classic American yacht craftsmanship, the boat features mahogany planking and carries the design hallmarks that define the Constellation series.
The accommodation layout includes three cabins and two heads. The yacht has undergone substantial systems upgrades while retaining its period character. The mahogany hull was professionally refastened in 2019. Electrical systems have been rewired and modernized, and all onboard systems are operational. Power and comfort systems include a diesel furnace, a 650-watt solar charging system, an 800 amp-hour house battery bank, a 4000-watt inverter, and a Westerbeke generator installed in 2007.
Additional equipment includes a Boston Whaler tender mounted on custom davits. The boat measures 48 feet in length with a 14-foot beam and runs on gasoline fuel.
