1958 Rybovich 54 Yachtfish

This 1958 Rybovich 54 Yachtfish is one of only five examples of this model ever built by the legendary Palm Beach yard. Built with double-planked mahogany over cedar, bronze fastenings, and white oak framing, the hull was constructed with epoxy-sealed seams for watertightness. The yacht recently completed an extensive two-year restoration that preserved its historic character while modernizing systems and reliability. Twin Cummins QSM11 diesel engines rated at 715 horsepower each deliver a cruising speed around 25 knots and a top speed near 30 knots.

The interior comprises three staterooms and three heads. The master stateroom spans the full beam aft with a private head and direct access to the cockpit. Guest accommodations are positioned amididships, with crew quarters forward. The salon retains the warm aesthetic of a classic yacht, featuring an L-shaped settee with custom hi-low table and traditional mahogany joinery throughout. The galley and dinette preserve the original Rybovich cabinetry alongside modern appliances.

The air-conditioned bridge deck centers on a varnished mahogany helm with classic Rybovich instrumentation combined with modern Garmin electronics including radar, chartplotters, autopilot, and weather systems. The cockpit is equipped for serious fishing, with a tackle center, bait freezers, livewell, and Eskimo ice maker. Teak decking and mahogany detailing continue throughout. The boat carries a 20-kilowatt Westerbeke generator, 500-gallon fuel capacity, and 250-gallon fresh water capacity.
