1970 Trumpy Houseboat

This 62-foot Trumpy houseboat was built in 1970 and represents one of the final examples produced by the storied builder. Originally commissioned and launched as a private yacht, the boat carries significant pedigree and has been maintained through a succession of owners. The wooden hull is supported by twin Volvo Penta diesel engines producing 1,100 horsepower combined, with a cruising speed of 18 knots and maximum speed of 24 knots.

The accommodations comprise three cabins and three heads. The layout includes two generous staterooms along with separate crew quarters, providing comfortable and functional living space for extended cruising.

Recent work has brought the boat to a high standard. The bottom, keel, frames, and floors have been replaced new. Both main engines have been replaced with 550-horsepower Volvo Penta units fitted with custom ultra-quiet underwater exhaust systems. New Northern Lights generators with custom quiet exhaust have been installed, along with new fuel tanks, wiring, and air conditioning systems throughout. These updates address the core systems while preserving the character of this classic design.
