This 1960 Burger 85 is an 82-foot aluminum motor yacht designed by naval architect Jack Hargrave. Built by Burger Boat Company during an era when few yachts of this size were constructed in aluminum, she represents a significant example of mid-century yacht building. Twin General Motors diesel engines, each producing 745 horsepower, provide her propulsion and power generation.
The yacht accommodates guests across five cabins with three heads. The main suite features a double berth with wood finishes and an en-suite bathroom. Two additional guest cabins are each fitted with twin berths and private facilities. Separate crew quarters provide space for three crew members, with additional cabin space completing the layout.
An extensive refit was completed in 2022, which updated the yacht while preserving her classic character and original design lines.
