1960 Vintage Stord Verft 60

This 60-foot steel trawler was built in 1960 at the storied Stord Verft shipyard in Norway. Originally commissioned as a Norwegian rescue vessel, she served in that capacity before transitioning to Swedish rescue service until 1998. The boat was repowered in 1988 with a Volvo Penta TAMD121D diesel engine rated at 383 horsepower, which remains the current power plant.

The layout includes a raised bridge deck with upper helm station, three cabins—two private and one forward bunk area—plus a galley and mess. Fore and aft storage compartments provide workspace and storage throughout the hull. Functional hydraulic systems include a windlass forward and an aft winch.

Electrical systems operate on 120-volt AC, with 24-volt DC circuits. A Lister Petter generator provides power generation. The boat entered private ownership in 1998 and has since been based in Florida.
