A 1964 Columbia 40 designed by Charles Morgan, this 40-foot fiberglass sailboat embodies the classic proportions and offshore capability that defined the Columbia line. The hull and deck are solid fiberglass construction, and the boat has been extensively refitted with modernized systems and upgraded equipment throughout.

The interior features warm teak joinery, teak-and-holly cabin soles, and fine craftsmanship in the layout. Two cabins and one head accommodate cruising or extended passages. A Yanmar diesel engine of 47 horsepower provides independent propulsion.

Recent work includes renewed rigging, upgraded B&G electronics, and modernized systems. The fiberglass hull and deck remain in sound condition, supported by thoughtful updates to mechanical and electrical components that balance traditional character with contemporary reliability.
